Good Year Tires
It was a good year employee who explained to me that tires should be checked occasionally even if there is nothing wrong with it. At least once a week have the tire pressure checked with the recommended pressure. Usually it's 30 for all side of a normal car.
The grip of good year tires are also the best I have ever experienced especially during wet conditions. It is a bit expensive but it is worth it because I feel securing when I am speeding. I was running 70 and had to hit the break and it gripped the road perfectly.
It has also outlasted any other tire that I used by at least twice the time. That makes the $200 per tire prize more than worth it. I could have bought tires that are half the price but I had to change it twice more than a good year tire so that is an automatic offset.
It also held the pressure longer. It is my standard practice (as any motorist should) to check my tire pressure at least once a week. I had the good year tire checked that way and it was a good one year before I had to get the pressure done. Considering I am a heavy driver, I drive fast and I go around a lot, that is a really good performance.
Perhaps, the only negative thing is the noise that it creates when I hit the break. I skids hard against the road but the advantages far outweighs the disadvantages.
